Clinical Utilities

To obtain an accurate serum concentration of Lamotrigine the patient
should not be taking chlorpropamide, flecainide and methaqualone
which interfere in the assay. Do not use gel separator tube.

Collection Instructions

Antiepileptic therapeutic drug monitoring. Peak plasma levels are reached in about 2 hours after oral administration. Elimination half-life is 10-100 hours.
